Multi-award winning Australian duo Felicity Urquhart and Josh Cunningham have just release their third studio album Everything Around You; a melange of country, blues and roots and folk. They draw on life’s struggles and joys with a mighty fine knack for storytelling through pensive songs.

MY CITY
Tamworth, it’s a fabulous regional city. Not only does it welcome thousands every January for the Country Music Festival but it’s also the place I grew up in so I have friends and family there who are part of the rich Tamworth tapestry. There’s wonderful cafe’s, restaurants and shopping with plenty of great sport, fishing and camping right on your door step. It’s a progressive city and I’m very Tamworth proud. Did you know it was the first regional town to have electric street lights??
FAVOURITE FOOD MEMORY
Eating cucumber sandwiches with my pop in his kitchen when I was a kid. Home grown, apple cucumbers loaded with fine pepper and salt. They were delicious.
FAVOURITE BAR
The Press Club in Tamworth NSW ( yes my old home town) . Great music venue too. They’re supporting music and have created a community space. They make a mighty margarita and in January in the hot weather watching Jen Mize and The Rough and Tumble it was a perfect combo.

Doo- Bop Bar Brisbane; multi-level, I love the downstairs bar, it’s right in the city and sometimes they have gigs on.

Station Inn – Nashville, Tennessee. Great music and vibes at the legendary venue.

Tulloch Winery in the Hunter Valley Shiraz. I actually used to work for Channel 7 TV travel show Sydney Weekender for 15 yrs. It was a great experience visiting amazing places across NSW. We would frequent a lot of wineries and tasted some exquisite food and beverages. Pokolbin and the Hunter region we would shoot around on a regular basis as it’s a stones throw from Sydney. Take the trip to the Hunter Valley – lots of amazing wine and food you won’t be disappointed.
