British singer/songwriter and producer Youngr [also known as Dario Darnell] makes his maiden Australian tour this December. Best known for his one-take live videos of dance-friendly bootlegs that continue to score viral success, it was his take on Temper Trap’s Sweet Disposition that became a global favourite.

MY CITY
I’m originally from Manchester in the UK, but I’ve moved to North Wales, and I bloody love it. I’m right by the beaches and the mountains and beautiful nature.
FAVOURITE FOOD MEMORY
I think it was my first-time trying sushi in a place called Wilmslow in Manchester. I remember my Mum and Dad taking me when me and my brother were really young and the dude was setting stuff on fire in front of us and throwing rice in his hat and all sorts, it was a magical experience! From that day on, sushi has been my favourite food, hands down.
FAVOURITE BAR MEMORY
The first one that came to mind was a small bar in Guatemala. It was my first tour as Youngr, just after things started taking off. I took my girlfriend, we had a great crew with us, and I remember them blasting my bootleg of Sweet Disposition as I was standing on the bar pouring tequila into people’s mouths. Fun stuff! Definitely too old for those shenanigans now.
